This site basically captures my life and my random musing on subjects of more or less no consequence. As an expatriate from Hong Kong, once a Mid-Westerners and at the moment living in Germany naturally most of the subjects that interest me would be subjugated to the examination of my intrinsic triple perspective, which occasionally would only makes them more convoluted than they already are. I can’t tell you what exactly I’m going to write about but I can tell you what I’m not going to write about: there won’t be any of the cliché American dream sentimental shit in here. I’m afraid I’ve lost all my illusions and am too beat-up for non-sense.

I have a list of names I wanted to call my website. “Cultural Convolution”, “Decrepit Curiosity”, “Emotional Engineering”, “Intellectual Violence”….all of them combination of words that have the furthest relations to each other. In the end I settled for cultural convolution, but I might as well have called it “Decrepit Curiosity”, “Emotional Engineering”, “Intellectual Violence” et al. They are all just fancy ways of saying that I put myself into conundrums a lot.

In here you’ll find two types of my work: factual and fictional. Naturally in factual articles I talk about things that I’ve found interesting, impenetrable or intolerable and have a loud opinion for. In my fictional works, as you will find as a dedicated reader of my site, are extensions of my opinions and beliefs that I wish to make known. There are also a third type of article posted in here, which are articles written by others that I’ve come across that’s worth sharing. I have made it a habit to reference back to the original author and the source of the article. I need to specifically called this out because I wish to raise awareness on copyright and information piracy. And I expect to receive the same amount of respect on my writen works.
